The Zoo Med ReptiSun T5-HO Terrarium Hood is an affordable and effective light fixture designed for use in reptile terrariums. Its sleek, barely-there profile makes it an attractive and non-obtrusive addition to your custom reptile enclosure. The ReptiSun Hood features an energy-efficient T5-HO electronic ballast to ensure rapid starts and maximum lamp performance. A highly polished curved reflector is also incorporated to significantly boost light and UVA/UVB output. For convenient manual control, an on/off rocker switch is mounted on the rear of the hood. Alternatively, the ReptiSun T5-HO Terrarium Hood can be used with a light timer of your choice (sold separately).
The Zoo Med 30" ReptiSun T5-HO Terrarium Hood includes a ReptiSun 22" (24 W) 5.0 lamp, but can also be used with 10.0 T5-HO lamps (depending on the reptile species).
