The unit has an exceptional flow rating at over 634 gallons for a lighter bio-load and up to 370 gallons for a heavier bio-load. Additionally, the skimmer itself has a 25 cm chamber diameter and is powered by the ultra-durable Shark 6.0 pump with an energy efficient power consumption of only 45 watts. The recommended water level for use is 22 cm and there needs to be approximately 3 cm of clearance to remove the collection cup for emptying.
