Aquael BioCeraMAX Ultrapro 1200 - 1 L

Aquael BioCeraMAX 1200 is a powerful and effective biological filter media suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater environments. The media provides an extremely large surface area (1200m²) and is composed of fine-grained sintered glass rings that help to stimulate the growth and development of beneficial nitrifying bacteria colonies from the genera Nitrosomonas and Nitrospira. These bacteria use toxic metabolites from ammonia and nitrites to run their vital processes, eventually oxidizing them into nitrate form, which is far healthier for the inhabitants of your aquarium.

BioCeraMAX is incredibly versatile and can be used as a filter bed in canister filters, overflow filters, sumps and filtration racks. The formula comes highly recommended for aquariums with large fish, or large numbers of fish. To maintain optimal function, the media should be replaced between 6 - 12 months. Comes in a 1 liter container.

Do not wash or rinse Aquael BioCeraMAX under running tap water. This will cause sterilization and loss of efficacy.
