Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Hoods

The Zoo Med 12 inch Naturalistic Terrarium Hood is designed to fit all 12 inch wide Naturalistic Terrariums. This hood can hold one ReptiSun 5.0 compact fluorescent UVB lamp or one incandescent heat lamp up to 60 watts (e.g. Zoo Med's Daylight Blue or Nightlight Red Reptile Bulbs). A built-in reflector allows for increased heat/UVB penetration in your terrarium. An on/off switch is conveniently located on the back of the hood. Two 12 inch hoods may be used together to provide both heat and UVB light to your terrarium inhabitants.

Please Note: Reptiles should maintain a minimum safe distance of 6 inches from any UVB lamp. Set up your terrarium in a way that will prevent your animals from getting too close to their UVB lamp.
