Estes RepTerra Premium Calcium Carbonate Sand

Estes RepTerra Sand is a premium grade of Calcium Carbonate, ideal and safe for use with most desert species of lizards, snakes, tortoises, and hermit crabs. Very small or young animals should not be kept on any sand product as they are more susceptible to impaction problems. RepTerra sand reduces impaction problems which are common when reptiles are housed on silica sand, wood shavings, and other substrates. RepTerra sand conducts heat and is safe for use with heating mats or cables. It absorbs moisture easily (clumping when wet) and dries quickly.
