Formerly know as the ReptiSun 2.0, Zoo Med's NatureSun is a full color spectrum daylight T8 fluorescent lamp with a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 98. This means that it will bring out the true colors of your reptiles, amphibians, hermit crabs, and birds, while simultaneously promoting the growth of terrarium plant life. NatureSun lamps provide beneficial UVA, which stimulates feeding, breeding, and other natural behaviors. A 6,500K color temperature ensures maximum viewing pleasure of your prized pets.
NatureSun lamps can be used as the sole light source for snakes, most amphibians, arachnids, small animals, and hermit crabs. For reptiles with UVB requirements, use in conjunction with Zoo Med's ReptiSun 5.0 or ReptiSun 10.0 (sold separately). For birds, add Zoo Med's AvianSun 5.0 UVB lamp (sold separately).
This lamp provides optimal UVA levels for up to 12 months, and should be replaced annually. Made in Germany.
