An all natural calcium substrate, ideal for true chameleons, tortoises, snakes, lizards, arachnids, or insects that come from an arid environment. The naturally spherical grains won't scratch your pet inside or out! No artificial dyes or chemicals are used in the manufacturing process of Reptilite. This low impact substrate contains strontium and magnesium, and is free of phosphates and silicates. Though it is not intended as a food supplement, it is 100% edible and easily digestible. Reptilite is made using aragonite, the most soluble form of calcium carbonate available; allowing reptiles to ingest necessary calcium for proper bone development. The naturally occurring strontium is also believed to increase bone density according to recent studies.
