The Classic 600 filters are made of a lab-tested coarse foam and are easy to install. As a parting layer between the mechanical and biological filter media, coarse particles that have made it through the first layer are trapped. Clearer water passes through to the biological layer.
Filters may be rinsed in the tank or in dechlorinated tap water. Rinse and reuse every 2-3 weeks for up to two months.
