Seachem Alkaline Buffer - 4 kg

The 4 kilogram container of Seachem Alkaline Buffer is a non-phosphate buffer designed specifically to carefully raise pH and alkalinity (KH) levels in freshwater aquarium environments. It is ideal for use in delicate planted aquariums or for very hard water where phosphate buffers may pose an algae or cloudiness problem. The Seachem Alkaline Buffer raises pH and buffers between 7.2 and 8.5. It is gentle, completely pet safe, and greatly enhances the overall water quality of your aquarium environment.

Instructions:

To increase pH, use 1 teaspoon (6 g) for every 80 L (20 US gallons) of aquarium water daily until the desired pH level is reached (this dose raises alkalinity by about 1 meq/L (2.8 dKH)).
