Seachem Equilibrium - 4 kg

The 4 kilogram container of Seachem Equilibrium is a top of the line water additive that has been designed specifically to establish the ideal mineral content for sensitive freshwater planted aquariums. Unlike many of the competing products on the market, this solution contains no sodium or chloride (both of which can be detrimental to the sensitive parameters of planted aquariums at elevated levels). Seachem Equilibrium is well suited for use with RO (reverse osmosis) or DI (deionized) water as well as any mineral deficient water in addition to raising the essential mineral/electrolyte content (General Hardness) of the water to both balance and promote the overall stability of the carbonate hardness within the water column.

Directions:

To raise the mineral content/general hardness (GH) by 1 meq/L (3 dH), add 16 g (1 tablespoon) for every 80 L (20 US gallons) of aquarium water when setting up an aquarium or when making water changes (add to new water). For optimum solubility, it is recommended to mix the solution with 1 L (1 qt.) of water (the resulting mixture will have a white opaque appearance). When this mixture is added to the aquarium it will produce a slight haze that should clear within approximately 15-30 minutes. Do not use Equilibrium when replacing evaporated water. This dose is based on DI or RO water. For other water, measure hardness (GH) first, then add according to specific needs.
