The BioBubble Aquatic is an ultra-versatile 3 gallon aquarium that is capable of supporting a wide variety of freshwater and marine animals. Shattering the mold of traditional aquarium design, this revolutionary habitat features a one-of-a-kind crystal clear dome, seamlessly integrated aeration/filtration, brilliant LED lighting, and a patented expandable sleeve. Limited only by your imagination, it enables you to create breathtaking aquascapes that you can enjoy from a full 360 degrees!
Aside from its distinct contoured shape, the BioBubble's most notable feature is its expandable sleeve system. Designed to simplify setup, cleanings and routine maintenance, this patented mechanism enables you to remove, clean, and replace the scratch-resistant acrylic dome without having to drain the BioBubble or remove its contents. Simply squeeze the side latches to expand the sleeve, and enjoy unrestricted access to the BioBubble's interior, filtration components, and precious inhabitants.
To ensure adequate aeration and filtration, the BioBubble includes an Aquatic Filtration Kit. This system consists of a 60 gph water pump, 2-stage media pad, and silent-running air pump. The pump circulates water through the carbon-infused media pad nearly 20 times per hour to filter out impurities, while the air pump supplies vital oxygen to support the health of your aquatic pets. The air pump can also be used to power aerating aquarium ornaments. Residual heat from the Aquatic Filtration Kit keeps many aquatic animals comfortable without the use of a dedicated heater.
The BioBubble Aquatic illuminates your extraordinary ecosystem with its brilliant LED CapLite. Designed for low heat, long life and energy-efficiency, the CapLite employs 6 ultra-bright white SMD LEDs to highlight the beauty of your aquascape and resident fauna. Interchangeable specialty LED lamps can be purchased separately to help you customize the lighting conditions in your BioBubble (e.g. actinic blue/white for marine and reef applications). To prevent accidental moisture damage, the CapLite features a protective lens and watertight o-ring seal.
The BioBubble is designed to provide a safe and secure home for your pets. To prevent accidental openings and potential spills, it features four locking safety latches that must be disengaged before the crystal clear acrylic dome can be removed. Furthermore, the safety latches can only be unlocked when the BioBubble's expandable sleeve is in the open position. To prevent the BioBubble from sliding across smooth surfaces, it also comes equipped with four super-grip silicone stabilizers.
While primarily intended for aquatic applications, the BioBubble Aquatic boasts a modular design that will accommodate a wide range of semi-aquatic and terrestrial setups.
