The re-designed Lunar Aqualight Compact Fluorescent fixtures are designed for use in saltwater, reef, and freshwater planted aquariums. Compact Fluorescent lamps provide higher intensity light output compared with traditional T8 lamps, and have become a staple in aquarium lighting applications. Directional Lunar Blue LEDs can be positioned to add a concentrated shimmering moonlight glow over specific areas in your aquarium, or can be set to provide a more even distribution of lunar light throughout your aquarium.
This 30" Lunar Aqualight Compact Fluorescent Fixture comes with 1 x 65W 10,000K Daylight bulb and 1 x 65W Actinic Bluelight bulb. Included bulbs can be switched to create a variety of custom combinations depending on the intended application. Separate power cords and rocker switches allow individual control of 10,000K Daylight, Actinic Bluelight, and Lunar LED lights.
10,000K Daylight Lamps - cast sparkling bright white rays and provide high lumen output to simulate the midday tropical sun. An excellent choice for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
Actinic Bluelight Lamps - emulate the softer shades of blue light found at dawn, dusk, and in deeper water. Promotes photosynthesis in corals and live plants, while enhancing the natural beauty and vibrant coloration of aquarium inhabitants.
The Lunar Aqualight Compact Fluorescent fixtures feature a powder-coated aluminum housing to dissipate heat and ensure longevity in a moist environment, and an acrylic splash guard to protect bulbs and electrical components from potential water damage. Powerful cooling fans with quick-disconnect couplings offer effective heat management. Adjustable mounting brackets are included for easy installation.
