The marine land Eclipse Filter Cartridge Rite-Size H is designed for use in Marineland Eclipse 2 and Eclipse 3 Filters. The cartridge is designed to meet the highest standards for water purification and features a double-thick layer of poly-fiber, which acts as the mechanical filtration stage, trapping particles, food debris, waste and other sizable contaminates before the water is chemically filtered. The interior of the cat ridge is filled with Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon. The inside of the cartridge is coated with a ribbed backing to help evenly distribute the carbon pieces and keep them in place for better filtration. As water passes through the carbon layer, odors, chemicals, medications and colorants are trapped and removed.
