Seachem Safe is a comprehensive, concentrated dry conditioner designed for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It is a effective and efficient method of removing chlorine and chloramine, as well as helping to detoxify harmful ammonia, nitrates and nitrites. As an added benefit to aquarists, the formula is non-acidic, will not negatively impact delicate pH balances and will not overactivate protein skimmers in marine and reef aquariums. Additionally, the formula is ideal during the aquarium cycling as a mean by which to reduce ammonia and nitrite toxicity, as it contains a binder that converts ammonia, nitrates and nitrites into a non-toxic form that can be easily removed by the established biofilter. Use during water changes or new tank set ups. Comes in a 4 kg container.

Directions:

Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) of Safe for every 1,250 L (300 US gallons) of aquarium water necessary to reduce harmful chlorine and chloramine. Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) of Safe for every 300 L (75 US gallons) of aquarium water to reduce ammonia.
