Tropical Reef Plus Salt Additives

The 5 kilogram container of Tropical Marine Power Reef Plus Salt is a scientifically formulated salt mixture designed to balance and stabilize aquariums to enhance the development of large polyp stony and small polyp stony coral species. Containing higher KH, calcium and magnesium levels, the mixture helps to accelerate the growth of the calcium skeleton while providing all necessary macronutrients and trace elements found in natural marine systems. Additional ingredients include orgnaic components such as amino acids and vitamin C that contributes to improved tissue gain as well as the overall condition of the tank. The Tropical Marine Power Reef Plus Salt is dedicated to mature LPS/SPS tanks, and its formula can be easily supplemented with other products in case of high consumption of macronutrients.

Preparation:

Add the proper amount of salt suitable for your aquarium into a jug or container with RODI water at a temperature of 25°C, stirring for about 20-30 minutes. After this, the mixture will be ready to use. To obtain a salinity level of 33 ppt, approximately 390 g of salt should be dissolved in 10 L (2.6 US gal) of aquarium water.

Initial clouding of the water is natural and should clear within approximately 15 minutes of stirring. Before use, we recommend checking the salinity level of the mixture and, if necessary, adjusting the salt dose.
