At 500g, Fluval BioMax Rings have more capacity than most biological filter media. Their complex pore system allows beneficial bacteria to thrive, while allowing water to flow easily and constantly for optimal contact and filtration time.
Fluval BioMax rings should be replaced once every three months. Appropriate for freshwater and marine environments. Works with Fluval canister filter models: 105, 205, 305, 405, FX5, 104, 204, 304, 404, 103, 203, 303, 403, 106, 206, 306, 406.
