This unique aquarium was carefully designed to create the perfect balance of sight and sound to help inspire positive life flow energy or Feng Shui. Inspired by the Chinese Chi philosophy, the Fluval Chi helps stimulate the essence of Chi-inspired values such as life, health, prosperity, and everything that is positive. The calming aquatic setting creates a profound sensory and spiritual experience by combining the soothing sound and motion of bubbling water with ambient illumination. Elegantly designed, this contemporary-looking aquatic centerpiece is the perfect addition to your home or office. The 5 Gallon Fluval Chi features:
Filtration System - an easy-to-use, low maintenance filtration system keeps water crystal clear and ensures a healthy environment for your fish. Filtered water flows calmly over the center piece, bringing purified oxygen to the aquarium and stimulating the flow of positive energy. A two-sided filter pad provides thorough and effective mechanical and chemical filtration. The polyester side filters out debris and contaminants, while the carbon side filters out harmful liquid substances, colorants, and odors. Lastly, a foam pad captures excess particles and debris, while also supporting the growth of nitrifying bacteria (biological filtration).
LED Lighting System - 11 powerful LED lamps provide brilliant plant or decor illumination. The fountain lamp remains on, and is a beacon for positive energy. The safe, low-voltage system is operated by a moving on/off lever.
Plant Basket - plant basket easily slips out of the plant box, and can be filled with Fluval Chi decor pieces or natural plants to complement the Fluval Chi surroundings.
Pebble Basket - positioned on the top of the filtration cube, the decor tray holds either the pebble basket or additional decor pieces which soften the sound of the trickling water.
The 5 Gallon Fluval Chi Aquarium is ideal for the following species of fish: Goldfish, Betta Splendens, Guppies, and Danios. Note: Some species of fish may require a heater (not included). Consult your local fish specialist for heater recommendations.
