The Fluval UVC In-Line Clarifier is a unique, chemical-free device created to effectively combat unsightly cloudy or green aquarium water by eliminating the suspended bacteria and algae in the water column. The clarifier is maintenance free and helps to prevent the growth of harmful cyanobacteria that can destroy plants, but will not harm the beneficial bacteria the tank needs to thrive. To ensure proper purification, the design of the unit redirects water all around the bulb to maximize contact time and improve effectiveness.
