Fluval G Series Pre-Filter Cartridges

The Fluval G Pre-filter is a daily use cartridge for the Fluval G Advanced Filter and will trap suspended debris for effective mechanical filtration in fresh or marine applications. Designed as a no by-pass system, debris remains caught between each pleat until it is removed and rinsed. For extended use it is recommended the cartridge is cleaned at least every 2-3 weeks. The effectiveness of the Fluval Gs pre-filtration process means that less solid waste is solubilised in the aquarium water for less waste accumulation and also makes the chemical and biological filtration components of the system more effective.
