Hydor Performer Protein Skimmers (NEW)

Elegant and easy to use, the new Hydor Performer skimmer range is built with high precision CNC machined parts made with top quality materials for versatile applications in marine and reef aquariums.

The Performer 405 is a complete skimmer package that includes an L35 SK foaming pump operating at 396 gph, a venturi silencer, and special drainage system. The drainage system can regulate the level in the chamber without changing the quantity of water that is being treated. Also includes an air regulating system that controls the air input, allowing you to adjust the skimmer to fulfill specific individual applications, operating at 198 gph flow with air open.

The new SETLZ foaming pump is equipped with a new lubrication system, and innovative ROTORMIX brush impeller. Thanks to the use of the SELTZ pump, the Performer 405 skimmer guarantees super-efficient water circulation and foaming, disappearance of particulate matter, high air concentration in the main chamber, very low noise level, and low energy consumption.

• Collection cup is o-ring sealed and locks to foaming chamber

• Discharge is valved (formerly had to raise and lower height of discharge tube)
• Larger diameter venturi hoses (1/2" ID hose)
• Use next to sump or internal in-sump

The 405 model Performer skimmer is designed for use in normally stocked aquariums up to 150 gallons or heavily stocked aquariums up to 100 gallons in size.
