Lee's Bio-Pin Balls are ideal for wet or dry, freshwater or saltwater filter systems. They easily demonstrate biological filtration and assist with producing turbulence which helps in the gas exchange cycle. Their unique 150 drip point design allows oxygen to effortlessly come into contact with nitrifying bacteria living on the media surface. Use 1 gallon of Bio-Pin Balls per 20 gallons of saltwater or 35 gallons for freshwater, connected or placed randomly inside of your filter box.
