The LED lighting and unique half moon shape of this aquarium make a spectacular combination. The energy-efficient LED light creates a captivating shimmer effect in the water that mimics the underwater effects of natural sunlight. The 20 gallon Half Moon aquarium includes a clear plastic canopy with a feeding hole and cut out for a filter (sold separately). The canopy helps reduce water evaporation while simultaneously preventing fish from jumping out of the aquarium.
The LED light included with this half moon combo features a 3-position control switch - On, Blue, and Off. The "On" position fires 42 white LEDs for daytime viewing, and the "Blue" position diverts power to 3 blue LEDs that allow for nighttime enjoyment of the aquarium.
This 20 gallon Half Moon Combo does not include a filter. The plastic canopy does include a 5.9" x 2.6" cut out. The manufacturer recommends using either the Penguin 100 or Tetra EX20 for best results.
