The New Life Algaemax Pellets come in a 3-3.5 mm size and are designed specifically for medium-sized fish with a herbivorous diet, boasting nine different types of algae, seaweed, and kelp as well as containing high levels of beneficial oils, fats and marine proteins. Despite being herbivorous creatures, these fish still need proteins such as arctic krill to keep their energy and growth levels to a healthy level. Using only one or two ingredients in a herbivorous mix can result in a lack of essential vitamins, but the New Life Algaemax has an incredibly diverse range of ingredients allowing for a larger intake of important nutrients. This mix can be used for both freshwater and saltwater fish as the ingredients mimic items found in their regular aquatic habitats. Comes in 300g package.
