Tropifit Degu Food is a high-quality granulated food blend specially formulated for Degus. Jerusalem artichoke delivers inulin, a natural prebiotic fibre that helps prevent diabetes, the most common disease in degus. Fruit tree bark and twigs wear down your degu's teeth, and the addition of leek and herbs makes this Degu food extremely palatable which encourages your degu to eat. Moreover, the granulated grains and alfalfa used in Tropifit Degu Food is obtained through extrusion to increase digestibility of nutrients and eliminate bacteria and/or fungi. This formula is enriched with flaxseed, a source of unsaturated fatty acids (HUFA) which ensures shiny fur.
