The Aquatop SP5-UV is an energy efficient, fully submersible internal filter with integrated UV sterilizer. It effectively eradicates and controls free-floating microorganisms and disease causing pathogens in your aquarium system, delivering crystal clear water. The SP5-UV contains a 5 watt germicidal-grade UV lamp designed to eliminate free-floating algae, and a large pre-filter sponge that provides effective mechanical filtration. An adjustable flow rate of 70 to 125 gallons per hour allows the versatile SP5-UV to be used in different sized aquariums, and a handy swivel spout enables multi-directional output.

The SP5-UV is easily positioned and secured anywhere in your aquarium thanks to the included dual suction cup mounts. Ready to go right out of the box, it requires no additional plumbing or accessories for operation. Maintenance is also a breeze, as the SP5-UV is easily disassembled providing access to the impeller, pre-filter sponge, and UV lamp for cleaning or replacement. The Aquatop SP5-UV is designed for use in freshwater or saltwater aquariums up to 40 gallons in size.
