Aquatop UVP Series UV Sterilizing Pumps

The Aquatop UVP-9 is an energy efficient, partially submersible pump with integrated UV sterilizer. It effectively eradicates and controls free-floating microorganisms and disease causing pathogens in your aquarium system, delivering crystal clear water. The UVP-9 contains a 9 watt germicidal-grade UV lamp (with UV indicator lamp) to eliminate free-floating algae, and a removable pre-filter sponge that provides effective mechanical filtration. A swivel spout enables multi-directional output, and a detachable flow control valve allows the UVP-9 to be used in different sized aquariums. A removable venturi is also included to provide additional oxygen to your aquarium inhabitants.

The UVP-9 is easily positioned anywhere in you aquarium thanks to the included suction cup mount. Ready to go right out of the box, it requires no additional plumbing or accessories for operation. Maintenance is also a breeze, as the UVP-9 is easily disassembled providing access to the pre-filter sponge and UV lamp for cleaning or replacement. With a maximum flow rate of 210 gallons per hour, the UVP-9 is designed for use in freshwater or saltwater aquariums up to 75 gallons in size.
